Well. This week has been one for the books. Never in our lives have we seen anything like this, and to be honest, even though I know I am healthy all of the panic has me basically shitting my pants.
So I know that all of this Covid19 craziness is SO much to handle. So I sure as hell will not give you any advice about how to handle this situation. To each his own, I am no expert. I am a neurotic Jewish mother so you definitely don’t need my advice!
But I do want you to know you are NOT alone in this fear and overwhelm. It is absolutely normal and you handle it however you can.
For my self-care tip this week, I want to talk about a great distraction to all of the hysteria:
Reading
I remember years ago going through an awful break up with a douche bag, I mean guy I thought was “the one.” At the time I couldn’t concentrate, I couldn’t do anything but wallow.
But, the second I opened a book I’d be swept away into a completely different world, and for that time I wasn’t sad.
