Today I am sharing a breakdown of Thanksgiving from start to finish; from recipes, to timelines, and grocery lists.

I LOVE Thanksgiving. This is my holiday! I know things look different this year, and you may be preparing the meal for just the peeps in your house. But that doesn’t mean it cant be beautiful and special. There is nothing better to me than preparing a meal for those I am the most grateful for. The Best!

Typically I start planning out my Thanksgiving dinner about 10 days out. This is when I finalize the menu, and create my grocery list. And Because I am prepping all week, I also plan out some super simple dinners to avoid takeout all week.
- Once my grocery list is made, I cherry pick the items and usually end up shopping between Costco and Von’s.
Thanksgiving Week Meals:
Sunday: Costco Salmon and spinach salad
Monday: Crescent Wrapped Hot Dogs
Tuesday: Breakfast for Dinner
Wednesday: Crockpot Taco Soup
Thursday: Thanksgiving Dinner
Friday: Thanksgiving in The Valley
Saturday: Takeout

Leading up to Game Day:
10 days prior:
Order flower arrangements.
I also usually order bread rolls and pies.
Shop for all non perishable items.
Take out serving dishes/ inventory tableware and glassware to make sure you have everything you need.
The Sunday Prior:
Finish grocery shopping.
Create a cooking/ baking schedule for the week ahead.
Calculate when you need to start thawing the turkey.
Make an hour by hour day of plan including when to put the turkeys in the oven, heat the rolls, etc.
Breakdown of Thanksgiving Week from start to finish:
Monday: Get your life together! Workout, get organized, pull all your cookware together and make sure you have everything you need from the grocery store. (Baking day if that’s your thang!)
Tuesday: Workout, and move your body. Make mashed potatoes and string beans. Begin to thaw turkey if frozen.
Wednesday: Workout. Pick up floral arrangement, set tables, make stuffing, prep Turkeys (we have an extra fridge in the garage so I have the room, if not, prep them on Thursday.)
Take out a comfortable/cute outfit that you can wear all day and take a relaxing bath before bed.
Thursday: Move your body, and get some fresh air.
